Bluetooth audio receivers enable consumers to enjoy their Bluetooth music collection on just about any device with speakers! Many stereos and other audio playback devices still do not support bluetooth audio, so you need a receiver of some sort. A Bluetooth receiver will enable you to listen to audio transmitted by a Bluetooth device such as a computer, laptop, mobile phone or mp3 player on a traditional audio playback device. Bluetooth receivers are great for home theaters, allowing you to connect your mobile phone and stream music wirelessly to your home theater or stereo system. Choosing the best Bluetooth receiver can be a challenge, the most important factors when searching for one are: size, quality of audio, range and compatibility. There are plenty of receivers to choose from, here are three of the best:

Bluelink Bluetooth Music Receiver – The Bluelink receiver is a great, portable Bluetooth receiver. The Bluelink receivers are generally cheaper than the receivers from the bigger brands and they offer comparable or better quality. The range on this audio receiver is very good, around thirty feet, to be exact. The quality of the audio is superb, although quality is compromised the farther the transmitting device is from the receiver. The Bluelink is incredibly easy to connect and requires a power source to power the device, and it has the side benefit of being very compact and quite portable.

Motorola DC800 Bluetooth Stereo Gateway – Motorola’s entry into the receiver market is actually a multi-faced device; the DC800 is capable of both transmission and reception of Bluetooth audio. As a receiver the DC800 does an impressive job, although not without its flaws. The DC800 is easy to connect and install, it is a bit bulky and has a traditionally, ugly appearance. It’s main pulling point is that it has outstanding audio quality; possibly the best yet, unfortunately there is a slight delay that occurs in the audio when using the DC800, but if you can live with this it’s great.

Jensen WBT310 Universal Bluetooth Stereo Receiver – The WBT310 by Jensen is a great addition to the family of Bluetooth receivers. The overall quality of this receiver is great, and the equipment is also very easy to use. Unfortunately it suffers from poor audio range and an even worse documentation manual. The audio quality and appearance are both great!

Choosing the correct receiver is truly dependent upon your needs. The above three are the best currently available. Each Bluetooth audio receiver has its faults, however, but depending on your needs it should be quite easy to select which is best for you.
